Our Doll House

When I was a little girl I loved dolls and doll houses.  My mother bought me the Princess House furniture from Matel.  When I married I gave it all to my little Nieces.  I had 3 children of my own...all boys! Now I am a Nana to 3 little girls.  MyNiece, Debbie, has recycled her doll house to me including many of my old things along with her additions.  Her dollhouse was a kit that She and her dad (My Brother) built together.  It has been a memory maker for us all!

A wet Jack Russell Smooth Coat

If you ever entertain the thought of getting one ... think twice!
You must be up to the task!
She hunts down and attacks anything that moves:
Lizards, frogs, bugs, rodents...but not the squirrels,
they are too smart!
She swims in the pool daily if not more,
if the hose is on and children in there too she will do so for extended lengths of time.
Don't turn the sprinklers on if she is out there!
Oh No! They will be attacked!
No one should ever walk by her yard, for it belongs to her.
Arf-arf!
She loves it when company comes, she gets so excited that she must be held in my arms,
or she will run out the door and never come back!
Hurry!
Go get the car ... listen ... I hear her barking!
She found a cat!
When she is finally tired she is so sweet.
She lays in my lap and sleeps by my bed.
No one had better come near at moments like these ...
or she will growl and show her teeth!
She thinks I am hers and hers alone!

Sail Away

20 years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than the ones you did do.
So throw off the bowlines.
Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore.
Dream.
Discover.

Being Happy

"Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect.
It means that you've decided to look beyond the imperfections"
